Features

A rustic country escape located at the end of a private court, 315 High Street offers tranquil seclusion and modern convenience in equal measure. Nestled amidst northern Napa Valley's rolling green hills, the private canyon retreat offers three generous bedrooms and two and a half baths. Originally constructed in 2009, the thoughtfully-designed 2921 square foot Craftsman is rife with custom touches and finishes.

Beyond the Mahogany front door, birch wood floors are met with a marble-clad fireplace, soaring ceilings, and open-beam timber construction. An ornate wrought iron railing ascends upwards to the second floor while sliding glass doors frame picturesque views of the redwood-dotted expanse below. Featuring an open footprint that allows for ample entertaining, the adjoining kitchen has been furnished in concrete countertops, handmade McIntyre tile, a duo of Silgranit sinks, GE stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, and endless pantry space.

The main floor, large master bedroom with walk-in closet is accompanied by a master bath furnished with a large multi-head shower, clawfoot tub, dual sinks with granite countertops, and Travertine tile flooring. A 50” recessed TV with full surround sound and bathroom speakers make for the ultimate sanctuary. Upstairs, two large spare bedrooms are accompanied by a shared bathroom with a tiled shower and two separate sink vanities. An adjacent entertainment room, with an attached deck, can easily be converted into an additional bedroom. Downstairs from the main floor, offers an additional 550 square feet of flexible space with separate outdoor access, concrete floors, recessed lighting, insulated walls & ceiling, central heat, and air and plumbed for a bathroom, should the desire for renovation strike. Easily converted into a 1- bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment, the versatile space could be easily transformed to accommodate a renter and secure passive income.

Appointed with fire-resistant siding and 50-year Presidential comp roofing, the home offers Dual Zone heating and AC as well as a geothermal well set up for outdoor landscaping. Expansive redwood decking wraps around the home, revealing a heavily forested backdrop of old growth oak, native Redwood, Lodgepole Pine, Madrone, and Manzanita. Recessed lighting, outdoor speakers, and an 8”x8” therapeutic hot tub offer the perfect outdoor oasis for unwinding after a long day. Offering the benefits of an off-the-grid feel while still within walking distance or a short bike ride to downtown, the home is also smartly connected, equipped with security cameras, a Direct TV dish and ATT internet.

An endlessly green Napa Valley community dotted in natural hot springs, Calistoga is equipped with endless leisure options spanning mud baths, Swedish massage, and wineries. From the local Ca'toga Galleria D'Arte museum to the newly-minted Four Seasons resort, there’s a mix of culture, recreation, and relaxation. Rustic luxury at its best, 315 High Street doesn’t disappoint.

Neighborhood

Located in far northern Napa County, Calistoga has a distinctly relaxed feel. More than 125 years after its founding, the community still retains its small-town charm. Calistoga is perhaps best-known for its many spas, thermal springs, and mud baths that line state Route 29, which runs through the heart of the small city. Calistoga knows it has something special and aims to keep it that way. The small city’s main street offers an eclectic mix of shopping, wine-tasting rooms, and restaurants. There isn't a fast-food joint in town, so the locals head to Busters Southern BBQ for barbecue or Mary’s Home Plate Cafe for a burger. At the top of the food chain is Solbar, a Michelin-starred eatery that emphasizes local ingredients. Citizens are dedicated supporters of Calistoga’s schools and socialize at the community pool in the city’s center. For a lighter-than-air experience, Calistoga Balloons will float you over the sights of: Palisade Cliffs; Mount Saint Helena; Chateau Montelena; Old Faithful Geyser, which erupts every 40 minutes; and the Petrified Forest. For those who want to explore the area on foot, Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, located five miles north of Calistoga, offers a commanding view of the valley. Homes in Calistoga are eclectic, ranging from smaller, older houses near the city center, to showplace countryside homes situated on several acres with mountain and vineyard views
